i miss summer already...

its not even been gone a month but i miss summer. i miss when i was little and summer meant swimming lessons, sleep-overs and swing sets. i miss braided hair and bathing suits all day. i miss coming home from Payson Pool exhausted and starving. i miss crisp-bean burrito's that were longer than the bag. i miss no make-up. i miss flip flops and bike rides. i miss Onion Days and how fun the carnival used to be. i miss getting my face painted at the Fiesta Days craft fair. i miss the craziness. i miss the long car rides with friends on our merry way to nowhere. i miss my old zip-up swim suit. i miss my rollerblades. i miss Kari and Angie and Dari and Nicole. i even miss Marilee and i see her almost everyday. i miss girls camp. i miss the last day of school. i miss the first day of school. i miss running through the sprinklers. i miss it. i miss summer.
i guess part of growing up is learning to move on...

summer...

this summer was fun... new friends, Lake Powell, new calling, lots of books read and re-read, tan lines, hikes to the grotto, hugs, smiles, Jonas Brothers at Stadium, baseball games, painted toes, family visits, shorts, sanuk's, giant slip-n-slides, walks with my sisters, bon-fires, re-models, and band concerts... good times...

What a cute picture of you and Mrs. Turley! I miss those lazy, summer days running through the sprinklers! We STILL need to plan Dr. Quinn night!!!!

We did have some great summers as kids. It was awesome to have 3 sets of sisters all on 1 block too!!! We were lucky to have so many friends so close. I miss the happy-go-lucky feeling of summers as kids. Where did that go?? :)

I miss summer too! Mine was hijacked this year and I feel jipped. There was lots of swimming and popcicles, and Merlino's (nee-nur nee-nur)and even our traditional summer trip to infringe on your space but it was not a carefree lazy do what you want kind of summer- it also brought summer school, house remodel stress and temps over 104 outside which meant the temp on the inside of my unairconditioned house was 113 and no I am not kidding! On a good note I am sitting here typing in my cute o'niel zip up hoodie so Fall may not be to bad!And there is hot choc with moosetracks right???
