my endless love.

i like to call myself and all American Girl. and being such, i LOVE me a good hot dog. some might call me a blasphemer, but to me the perfect dog is well done, with ketchup ONLY. JDawgs is a favorite of mine as well as Arctic Circle where they have a foot long that is delicious. Wienerschnitzle is probably my favorite fast food palace. a little joint in SF called Glades is home to my favorite Corn Dog, and Disney Land has a pretty amazing foot long corn dog shack just off of Main Street USA. more recently, i had added SmashBurger's lovely SmashDog in my repertoire of great places to find me a hot dog Quick. i even love "leather" dogs from various gas stations. once in high school, on Christmas DAY, Angie, Kari, Mar and i were out on a jaunt to Genola to see dear old Jake and B. on the way angie and i demanded a stop at Flying J so we could get 50 cent leathery hot dogs from the rotating heater. oh man were they delicious. my Pop even puts a few dogs on the barbie early just for me so they can be nice and well done. and once as a joke, my sister Shelly sent me a ketchup bottle that said "soothes burnt hot dogs" on the front, and wouldnt ya know it, i still have that 10 year old bottle of ketchup. it used to be proudly displayed on a shelf in my bedroom. it is currently in a plastic storage tote in my basement. i think.... anyway, i'll never get rid of it. even when the ketchup has turned brown. gross. yuck. anyway. the point is, i love hot dogs. i cant wait for summer BBQ's to start so Daddy-o will grill me up some black ones. and for fall to come so i can skewer myself a juicy one and roast is over a delicoulsy open flame. of hot dogs. our love affair will never end.
