well, the day has (almost) finally come! we're heading to ECUADOR on Sunday! last night Kolbi, Tess, Kay and I were re-packing a bunch of donations we have collected, and i was blown away at the generosity of others. last week, one of my mom's best friends, Leah, called me and told me that she had 20 blankets, and 25 school kits that she wanted to send with us. my niece Emily organized a young women's project and collected hundreds of outfits, blankets, socks and an entire suitcase full of diapers. we're so happy to be able to deliver them to the orphans! one of Tess's friends donated a bunch of scrapbook paper, and my mom and sisters have all been very generous and donated glue sticks, yarn, paper, paint brushes and other things i cant remember right now. its been amazing to see the outpouring of generosity, and to know that the Lord works in mysterious ways. i cant even begin to thank everyone for all they have done and donated.

up, up, and away!
i'm SO excited to see Katelyn, and cant wait to play with all the babies and kids! our fun outings will be amazing, i'm sure, but i'm hoping to spend as much time helping as we can- we're so blessed to have this opportunity, and i cant wait to come back and blog all about it. HOORAY for ECUADOR!
