all i can say is ohmygoodness. it seems like everything happy, bad, crazy, weird, great happens all at once. life should be a little more spread out, ya know? for us, it all started last week. the Farm (which, by the way, i am grateful for, as they provide a job, and therefore $$$ for food and mortgage payments and all the little luxuries we enjoy) anyway, the Farm was chopping wheat silage all week which means MUCH longer hours for Pres, which means i felt like i didn't see him at all. flip side to that though, is awesome family who welcome me to their homes with open arms, and a busy week to begin with. Sunday we had a going away party for Katelyn, who by the way, i already miss terribly, i got my hair cut on Monday, did a few haircuts my self on Tuesday, including 2 ladies in Lindon and Miss Katelyn out in Mosida. on Wednesday we were invited to a birthday party for Bryce Larsen, who has to be one of my favorite people ever, on Thursday i got to go to the Ute Stampede with the Bateman's and even though Pres couldn't come, it was a glorious rodeo indeed! haha! Friday night i made what felt like hundreds of cookies for the Hurst (my Mom's Dad) Family reunion on Saturday, which we went to, and it was fun as far as family reunions go. after that big bash, we decided to go price lawn mowers at our favorite store, Home Depot and while we were there, we got a screamin deal on the chest freezer that i've been wanting since we moved in almost a year ago! so, a lawn mower, freezer, awesome flower pot and about 700 bucks later, we finished the week with a couple of slices of home made pizza goodness. this week, we went for Lazy Sunday, and did nothing but go to church and read all day long, it was fabulous. monday came and went with a trip with Kolbi and kids to Best Buy and Staples to get a computer for the farm, and Home Depot, to pick up our freezer. we got the freezer home, and with the help of my nephew, Josh, we got it down to the basement and all set up. Tuesday came a-calling with a few rough spots, but mostly good things, i got to hang with Maizie, Mollie, and Marianne while i did the girls hair and toes, and then started looking for a hotel room for our anniversary trip to St. George. this morning i dropped my beetle bug off at Big O for safety and emissions check up on my way to work and found out 20 minutes later that the old thing had passed emissions, a small miracle in and of itself, but needed a new turn signal light (no biggie) AND new tires in order to pass safety. ugh. new tires. (insert sigh of frustration here...) there goes 400 smakerooni's when all was said and done. but a HUGE thanks to my bro-in-law Ferdie for hooking us up with a great deal, and a big thanks to Art in the Orem Big O for workin that deal with good old Ferdell. the day got better though, i got to chill with my Momma for some good old fashioned hair doin and toe-nail painting, and then we went to a bridal shower for my old neighborhood friend, Nicole, where i saw her big sis Dari, and the Stevens ladies, Angie and Kari. LOVE them! HOORAY for old friends! and now, i'm kickin it in our little living room, my Man is laying on the couch reading The Hunger Games, and i'm starting to fret about the permanent make-up i'm getting tomorrow...eek! so, all in all, life is grand. it just feels better to vent a few frustrations, ya know? and as readers of my blog, if there are any, you are the victims of that little rant. i apologize. profusely. ANYWAYS... here are a few pics of whats been keeping us busy...

wowsers! you have had some stuff going on... but it's true... when it rains it pours. even if it's raining frezzers, lawn mowers, and tires!
